One way in which church family is worked out at Emmanuel is through serving. Serving teams are vital to the functioning of the church and are a great way to get embedded in community and to exercise our God-given gifts.
Worship
Worship is central to life at Emmanuel, both during our Sunday meetings and at midweek gatherings. If you are a gifted musician and would like to play a part in helping the church encounter the presence of God, we would love to begin a conversation with you.

Kids & Youth
We love having children in our church family and serving in the Children’s Work is a powerful way to share the good news of Jesus with the next generation. Our kids groups range from ages 1-11 and Emmanuel is also home to a growing Youth group who meet on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. We would love to hear from you if you would like to explore involvement in Children’s Work or Youth.

Production
Our PA and Visuals teams help to facilitate our Sunday gatherings by enabling distraction-free encounters with God and clear communication throughout the service. Whether you are experienced in your technical craft or a complete beginner, our team would love to train you.

Sunday Logistics
Our Sunday logistics teams help to execute our Sunday morning meetings.
The Sunday Operations Team handle the set-up and pack-down of our venue, creating a welcoming space for us to gather. The Welcome Team are the friendly faces who greet us on the door every week. They help to make visitors feel at home and are on-hand to help guide people to their seats. The Hospitality Team makes our tea & coffee time after the service possible - it’s an important community moment which they help to facilitate.
